Who We Are
We're two young women entrepreneurs who want to make the most natural process in women's life cycle visible, and to break taboos. Hempact is a social impact movement designed not for women, but by women.
We are women. We set out to find solutions to the discomforts, needs, and quietly dismissed problems we ourselves have lived through. We drew inspiration from nature so women can access comfortable, healthy, and sustainable products during their periods.
Because we believe a world where feminine products are designed by women is possible.
02 — The Hemp Taboo
The Hemp Taboo?
Because transforming taboos takes courage — and we found that courage in hemp. Misrepresented for years, carrying prejudice in its very name, hemp is in fact one of nature's strongest, most sustainable plants.
With its antibacterial, antifungal, and breathable structure, it provides skin-friendly protection — offering an experience during your period that's both healthy and environmentally sound. Hemp isn't just a raw material; it's also the story of a taboo's transformation. We're redefining hemp: not dirty, but natural. Not forbidden, but healing.
Hempact brings women's health together with nature's intelligence, choosing to protect both our bodies and our planet.
Because real sustainability doesn't start with the product alone — it starts with perspective.
03 — The Period Taboo
The Period Taboo
A period is nothing to be ashamed of — the wound only grows the more it's silenced. For centuries, women have been forced to hide, whisper, and feel ashamed simply for menstruating. Pads are still handed over wrapped in newspaper, while in ads, period blood is magically painted blue — as if that weren't nature's own color, as if a woman's body were something that needed censoring.
This silence imposed by society leads women to feel ashamed of their own bodies. But we're not staying quiet anymore. Because a period is natural, it is strength, it is life itself. A cycle isn't meant to be hidden — it's meant to be owned. It isn't the period that should feel ashamed; it's the system too afraid to talk about it. Hempact exists to break this taboo.
Because we know: speaking up gives strength, silence breaks the chains.
04 — Period Poverty
Period Poverty
Period poverty means not being able to access pads, hygiene, or comfort. Some women still have to use socks, rags, or newspaper because they can't afford pads. This means a girl missing school, a woman feeling ashamed, a body being silenced. A period is natural — but silence is not.
We're here to break this silence. Because our bodies hold a cycle to be celebrated, not to be ashamed of. Hempact doesn't hide the reality of periods — it speaks up, supports, and empowers.

This isn't a matter of hygiene products. This is a matter of dignity.

Being Hempactly
We're not afraid to talk about periods, because we know this isn't a taboo — it's a strength. Being Hempactly means living in harmony with nature's cycle while feeling the power of solidarity, never shying away from speaking up, supporting one another, and choosing to be part of this network of change. For us, a period isn't just a process — it's where change and sharing begin.
We speak out against period poverty, breaking the silence together. Every product touches a woman, a story, and a future. Together we grow stronger, together we change.
